Your Mission As a Senior Process and Systems Integration Engineer at Hydrostor, you will play a crucial role in our renewable energy projects, contributing directly to developing and implementing innovative long‑duration energy storage solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Project Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to provide Process and Systems Integration expertise and support for our Silver City Project. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including in‑house engineering, consultants, contractors and project management, to ensure the successful execution of our projects and the optimization of our energy storage systems. Your Day‑to‑Day Adventures Manage and support delivery of dynamic process modelling studies and process & performance optimisation initiatives Work with the HDS process team to maintain heat and mass balance Coordinate the capture & interpretation / analysis of strategic operational data Drive development of digital twinning strategy to facilitate training and predictive maintenance planning Review overall facility systems integration including air, thermal and storage systems Control system selection, optimisation including interfaces with energy markets Engage with corporate team to assess future A-CAES system facility developments (extended range) Who You Are The successful candidate will possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in senior‑level Process and Systems Integration Engineering roles on large‑scale cutting‑edge projects, ideally in the energy sector. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in process / system integration engineering or related field. Master’s degree would be an asset. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with specific experience in process / system integration engineering on large‑scale construction / energy projects. Experience in managing and supervising teams both external and internal. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to effectively assess and mitigate process and system risks. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain shortly. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ISRM, ASCE, and MSHA.
