Location : Sydney or Melbourne Salary : From $152,074 - $168,164 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation Contract : 24 month Fixed Term Contract Applications close : 11:59pm AEST, 28 November 2025 The team Information Technology Services delivers diverse IT facilities and support to ASIC, driving major technology projects in virtualisation, data analytics, mobility, and cloud to enhance operations. The Digital Applications team is responsible for delivering and supporting portals, integrations, custom applications and digital solutions. The role ASIC is seeking an experienced web application developer who is interested in leveraging their web development skills to support and deliver applications using OutSystems and .NET. Training with OutSystems will be available. Responsibilities Systems analysis, technical recommendations, and input to business/solution/UI designs for OutSystems apps Detailed design and proof of concept for components, workflows, and functionalities Development, unit testing, and deployment of OutSystems and .NET applications Alignment of delivered apps with project outcomes and architectural patterns Compliance with WCAG and security standards Adherence to coding, privacy, and security practices Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and best practices Continuous improvement of applications, environments, and processes Qualifications 5+ years developing/deploying complex web apps with .NET 5+ years in front‑end (HTML, CSS, React/Angular) OutSystems platform experience (advantage) Skilled in REST/JSON web services Proficient in SQL queries & performance tuning Agile methodology & tools (TFS, GIT, JIRA) Code reviews & quality assurance CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated testing Strong analytical & problem‑solving skills Effective communication with technical/business stakeholders Independent, accountable, outcome‑focused work style Tertiary qualification in IT/Engineering (desirable) Benefits Attractive superannuation Additional leave entitlements 50/50 hybrid work‑from‑home model Flexible work arrangements Assistance for study and professional development ASIC is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace where the very best talent in Australia chooses to work.
