Senior Civil Designer

Join a collaborative civil team working on diverse projects Lead technical design output and support junior designers Work with industry-standard digital engineering tools on major projects You’ll take a key role in delivering detailed civil design packages across roads, drainage and earthworks. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex design challenges, working closely with engineers, and guiding others through best-practice modelling workflows. Your day will involve developing 3D models, reviewing design deliverables, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring design outputs align with project requirements and relevant authority standards. What You’ll Be Doing Producing high-quality civil design models and drawings Providing technical input into road, stormwater and site-grading design Leading and mentoring designers across multiple projects Reviewing and validating design work to ensure accuracy and compliance Coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and utility authorities Supporting the engineering team with design decisions and project planning What We’re Looking For 10+ years’ experience in civil design Advanced capability with Autodesk Civil 3D (surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, earthworks modelling) Strong understanding of civil design principles across transport, drainage, and infrastructure Ability to interpret and work within Queensland authority standards and guidelines Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style Formal qualifications in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
