We have an incredible opportunity for a Student Planning Officer to join our team and take the first step toward shaping the future of our community What You Will Do: As a Student Planning Officer, you will work alongside experienced town planners and development professionals to gain insight into the statutory planning functions of local government. You will assist in assessing development applications, preparing planning reports, conducting site inspections, and supporting the Development Assessment Team in delivering high‑quality outcomes for our community. This position is designed to provide you with a well‑rounded learning experience, developing your technical, analytical, and communication skills while deepening your understanding of how planning shapes sustainable and vibrant places to live, work, and play. What We Are Looking For: Currently pursuing tertiary studies in town planning, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in legal and formal documentation. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service. Demonstrated commitment to a high level of initiative.
