The Host The successful trainee will be placed with our host business, The Endeavour Foundation . An organisation where people are working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability. With over 5,000 staff operating over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, the Endeavour Foundation offers choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation. This position will be placed with the Business Solutions Team offering various services including document destruction/paper shredding, timber products to mining safety equipment, food and general packaging. This rewarding opportunity will also see you supporting people with a disability working in the warehouse and making a difference in their day assisting them with developing skills in their community. Job Responsibilities Maintain quality control standards for all designated areas of production Ensure all goods are handled in a manner which maintains quality, minimises possible damage, adheres to and promotes safe work practices Ensure goods are collected and delivered in line with business and/or customer requirements Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in the workplace is upheld Support day to day vocational support to supported employees Forklift ticket and MR Vehicle licence will be issued as part of the Supply Chain Traineeship On the job training Your Registered Training Organisation will work with you in your work hours to complete your training so you can gain your qualification What will you bring to the role? Our team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for: Able to work Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:45pm High attention to detail with good time management skills You are reliable and eager to work and learn. You are safety conscious and understand the importance of following Workplace Health & Safety procedures. Able to gain a police check including pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
