In this role, you will lead artwork design and development from concept to bulk, ensuring every print and textile embodies the signature Zimmermann aesthetic. Your work will directly shape the look and feel of our collections, contributing to the distinctive, globally recognized style of the brand. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate, versatile, and collaborative, thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic studio environment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate creative vision into beautifully executed textiles that inspire and delight. Job Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Textile design Previous experience as a textile designer The ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view through colour, texture and patterns. Have strong design and communicative skills. Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills. Immaculate attention to detail. Knowledge of current design trends, industry developments and new textile processes. Working knowledge of PLM systems (C8 experience highly regarded) and Clo 3D Job Responsibilities Collaborate with Creative Director and design team on seasonal concepts Extensively research creative ideas and provide input on the key textile design elements of each season in line with the Creative Director’s vision. Creating original purpose‑built artworks for Zimmermann seasonal collections under direction from Creative Director that are unique and not derivative. Ensure all artworks is created in line with the company standards regarding originality and intellectual property rules. Technical preparation of artwork including creating artwork repeats and colour separations. Complete placement print designs, engineering to pattern markers. Grade and nest placement artworks. Adhere to seasonal deadlines. Ensure design room is organized including fabric references, design board and general design room workspace.
