Reservations Specialist - Commencing January 2026 $69,446 per year + super + 17.5% leave loading Meriton Suites Australia is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservations Specialist to assist with maximising hotel room reservations and delivering an authentic guest experience in collaboration with our operations team. You will be located at our head office on Kent St, in the heart of Sydney CBD. This position is fully on-site, office-based. Please note, there are no work‑from‑home or hybrid options available. About the Role As a Reservations Specialist, you will be responsible for the first impression of Meriton Suites Australia. You will ensure a professional and warm pre‑arrival experience by engaging with potential guests over the phone and responding to emails relating to general product information and reservations. Your key responsibilities Attend to guest’s calls and emails in a timely manner. Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, email, and online distribution platforms. Utilise sales techniques where possible, including personalising the call experience to better understand guest needs, make recommendations and upselling room upgrades for special occasions. Champion all properties’ information to ensure seamless communication to guests and potential guests. Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns. To be successful in this role you will have Experience in the hospitality sector, customer service, guest support or sales role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Knowledge of Property Management System and online booking platform is advantageous. Demonstrated critical thinking skills to develop thorough product information. An eye for details, especially when performing data entry tasks. Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure. Full availability to work a 7‑day rotating roster. Why Meriton Suites?
