Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver

Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver Join UGL as a key player in the Defence industry, supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. This unique opportunity is based at the Townsville RAAF base, where you will work with our operations and maintenance team to deliver fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders. Role Overview Reporting to a UGL leading hand or supervisor, your day‐to‐day directions will come from the commanding officer of the squadron you are assigned to. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate a fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and defence base Work closely with operators to safely load your tanker with the required fuel Deliver fuel to designated points – refuelling points, aircraft on the runway, etc. Operate pumps on the tanker to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft Communicate with internal and external teams to maintain a positive customer experience Qualifications You should be a strong team player, a self‑starter, and a dedicated employee.
