Overview Cloud Architect (Contract) As a Senior Manager Technology (Architect, Cloud Infrastructure), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that drive scalability, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives and industry best practices. Your Impact Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Define and drive cloud migration strategies, optimizing performance and cost efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications. Establish and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices. Lead the evaluation and adoption of cloud technologies, ensuring alignment with business needs. Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, ensuring consistency across projects. Stay updated on emerging cloud trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proven experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions for enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks. Proven knowledge and experience with Cloud migrations and toolsets Proven expertise in provisioning, private and public cloud, preferably with experience in AWS migration and VMware migration Proven industry experience, preferably within a consulting organisation Ability to deal with customers at all levels and translate customer needs into a complete solution Analytical, diagnostic, project management and problem-solving skills Proven ability to produce compelling proposals, solution designs, and architecture documentation Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
