This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time Chef to join the culinary team at Coast Roast Cairns Central, a popular cafe in the heart of Cairns, Queensland. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. What you’ll be doing Preparing and cooking a variety of meals from the cafe’s diverse menu Ensuring all food items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations Providing excellent customer service to both dine-in and takeaway customers What we’re looking for Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume dining establishment Proven track record of delivering consistently high-quality meals Strong time management and multitasking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification What we offer At Coast Roast Cairns Central, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
