Infrastructure Operator

About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Infrastructure Supervisor, the successful candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to infrastructure, mobile equipment, fixed plant processes and pumping systems on a 7:7 shift roster. Responsibilities include: Daily completion of maintenance timesheet to record work time against work orders; Weekly update of maintenance logs and records; Weekly completion of infrastructure site inspections as directed; Operate site trucks, forklift or EWP to complete assigned tasks; Keep workshop area in a clean and tidy state, ensuring rubbish bins emptied, door openings, walkways and floor clean; Carry out general repairs to site buildings and infrastructure complying with standard requirements; Assist team members in tasks; Driving vehicles to and from required destinations as directed; Work within the community promoting Talison Values; Audit Tool store stock and replenish; Attend training when required; Participate in the development and review of work safe procedures; Any and all duties as directed by Supervisor/Manager(s); Daily conduct and promote Talison Values; and Comply with the Employee Accountability Statement. About the Candidate Understanding basic Maintenance activities and terminology; Understanding of mineralogy and process operation; Understanding of CMMS; Experience with general type repairs; Basic understanding of pumping systems; Ability to work in a team environment and support all others on site; Desire to upskill to assist Infrastructure team; and Current driver's licence with MR truck.
