WHS Coordinator , Workplace Health and Safety Amazon Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia We currently have a vacancy for a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to join the Amazon Australia Team. The position is within the Fulfillment Centre (FC), reporting directly to the WHS Manager. The successful candidate will work with the WHS team to maintain high safety standards across our FC, be trained on standard work and WHS tools, exemplify proactive safety practices, and act as a role model for the entire workforce. Work Hours & Shift Pattern This is an hourly role based on shift patterns. The current shift pattern is Front Half – Sunday to Wednesday night shift. Applicants mustాష be willing to rotate shifts based on business need. Key Job Responsibilities Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly inspections. Facilitate incident investigation process. Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations. Enter safety incident information in the internal database in a timely manner. Perform safety observations and audits. Coach other staff (e.g., Area Managers) to complete their safety responsibilities (audits, safety rules, inspections). May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety‑related activities depending on the business unit and location. Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Bachelor’s degree in a safety‑related field or Cert IV in WHS.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in logistics. Experience with data analysis.
