Your opportunity As the Head of Department (Curriculum) your responsibilities will include: Deep understanding V.9 Australian Curriculum Proven ability to design and lead whole school reform; differentiated for beginning / new teachers through to experienced high-performing teachers Ability and preparedness to quality assure whole curriculum alignment Understanding of complex learning environments (characterised by trauma, disability, poverty and cultural diversity) Strong advocate for socially just practices Strong writing and verbal communication capabilities Preferred Training / Experiences / Attitudes Visible Learning Fundamentals Trauma informed practice Previous experiences with effective PBL Frameworks Growth Mindset (What's Possible) Not hierarchically driven; capability to nurture shared voices within stakeholders Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
