Ideal for those balancing study, family, or other commitments. Preference for candidates available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On‑the‑job training and mentoring provided. Potential to progress into a permanent part‑time position. About the Role We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Driver / Showroom Consultant to join our friendly Wallsend team. This dual role offers plenty of variety; you'll assist customers in the showroom while also handling deliveries and warehouse tasks. Your day‑to‑day will include: Providing friendly and professional customer service in‑store. Processing sales and orders through our Point of Sales (POS) system. Delivering goods safely and on time to customers across the region. Assisting with warehouse operations – picking, packing, and receipting stock. Operating a forklift (training provided if needed). Keeping the showroom and warehouse clean, tidy, and organised. Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to ensure smooth daily operations. What We're Looking For We're after someone who's motivated, customer‑focused, and takes pride in their work. To be successful, you'll bring: A forklift licence (LF) – or willingness to obtain one. MR licence – advantageous, or willingness to obtain. Good time management and communication skills. Strong work ethic and hands‑on attitude. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of the plumbing or building industry (preferred but not essential). A commitment to safety and teamwork. What We Offer Ongoing training and support.
