Temp Chief Engineer aboard 50 m+ Private M/Y Start Date: Early December until Jan 3rd 2026 Itinerary: Gold Coast to Sydney and then Whitsundays Package: Competitive Salary paid in AUD at a daily rate, inclusive of leave Only Australian or New Zealander citizens or those with the working rights for Australia need apply Experience/Skills required Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief on a similar sized yacht Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills essential Experience with Caterpillar Engines would be advantageous Must be a hands on and proactive engineer who is knowledgeable in all engineering and maintenance duties aboard Possess the ability to delegate to a 2nd Engineer with a diplomatic and motivational approach Professional appearance Qualifications required STCW Y2 III/2 CoC STCW (fully updated) with PDSD Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with min 6 months’ validity) Please read the full job description carefully and ensure you meet all the criteria listed before applying.
