Policy Manager – 6-Month Opportunity (Brisbane) Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping effective, evidence‑based policy? We're seeking an experienced Policy Manager, based in Brisbane, to join our team for a six‑month role, driving high‑quality policy development and supporting key organisational outcomes. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development of products including operating policies, procedures, fact sheets, correspondence and other briefing materials. Develop resources to support consistency and quality of branch output. Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on a range of policy and practice issues. Manage projects to completion by identifying risks and managing expectations. Key Skills and Attributes Demonstrated high‑level ability in researching and critically analysing policy issues to identify legislative solutions that are based on evidence and fit for purpose. Demonstrated high‑level experience in managing and coordinating projects to completion, establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, including stakeholder engagement, negotiations and obtaining executive approval. Demonstrated high‑level experience in applying key concepts and principles of legislation when developing policy responses. Demonstrated high‑level ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to deliver quality written communication products (including policies and procedures), including the provision of professional advice.
