Educational Leader - Sunshine Coast University Hospital We are seeking an Educational Leader to join our team on a permanent full time basis at our Sunshine Coast University Hospital Child Care Centre. About the Role As an Educational Leader, you will promote children's wellbeing, development and learning, implementing inspiring, motivating and engaging education programs while supporting other staff with assessment, planning and delivery of the programs. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Supporting the development and implementation of effective procedures to meet each child’s needs, having regard to the seven National Quality Framework elements Creating a warm, caring and happy environment for all children in the centre Working with the Director in the development of marketing and promotional strategies to maximise centre usage capacity Monitoring and providing an appropriate level of supervision and on the job training for child care assistants within nominated area of supervision Assisting the day to day operations of the centre About You Are you ready to infuse your unique energy and enthusiasm into the world of early childhood education? About the Centre Situated just 15 minutes north of Caloundra and 7 minutes west of Bokarina, our Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) Early Learning Centre was established in 2016. Located on the hospital rooftop, we provide essential care and education predominantly to the children of hospital staff. Surrounded by the beautiful Birtinya's canals and housing estates, it offers a unique community lifestyle. Operating from 6.00am to 6.00pm, we support the hardworking medical staff at the hospital by providing high‑quality child care services. Our Centre caters to up to 83 children daily, surrounded by parks, creeks, and play areas that inspire creative programming both inside and outside our facility. With a dedicated programming room, you'll have the freedom to design and create programs that stimulate inquisitive and adventurous young minds.
