We’re seeking an energetic and customer-focused 2IC Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading automotive brand, delivering exceptional service while achieving strong sales performance. At Wollongong Mazda, we’re passionate about providing the Wollongong community with a great range of Mazda vehicles and after sales services. We believe in the quality and reliability of our entire range of New Mazda, Used Cars and Demonstrator Mazda vehicles, and you will too. Key Responsibilities Assist the Sales Manager in managing the New Vehicle Sales department operations. Sell new vehicles to customers while maximising gross profit and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Follow all dealership processes and standards for customer service and sales documentation. Manage the full sales process — from prospecting and test drives to closing deals and vehicle delivery. Work closely with the Business Manager and Aftermarket Consultant to maximise finance, insurance, and accessory opportunities. Conduct professional and engaging vehicle demonstrations and presentations to customers. Personally deliver all sold vehicles, ensuring every handover meets manufacturer and dealership standards. Maintain up-to-date customer records in the dealership CRM system and follow up to encourage repeat and referral business. Ensure all sales documentation is accurate, complete, and signed before vehicle release. Maintain knowledge of the latest new vehicle models, features, and manufacturer promotions. Keep display and demonstration vehicles in pristine, presentable condition. Collaborate effectively with the Service, Parts, and Administration teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Uphold dealership standards of professionalism, health, safety, and presentation at all times. Key Performance Indicators Achievement of monthly sales volume and gross profit targets. Timely resolution of customer concerns or complaints. Accurate and complete record-keeping. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in automotive sales (new or used) or a strong background in a customer-facing sales role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Goal-driven with a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
