Responsibilities Perform structural design of telecommunications infrastructure, such as towers, monopoles, guyed masts, and rooftop structures Perform detailed structural analysis and modeling using specialised software like SpaceGass, MStower, Tedds and Checkpole Prepare, review, and certify engineering calculations, design reports, and specifications as per Australian standards Provide technical support to clients, internal colleagues, and junior engineers Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards Compliance & Quality Ensure designs and services are fit for purpose and comply with relevant codes and regulatory standards Conduct site inspections to monitor work and check conditions Demonstrate integrity and high personal and professional standards Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams Communicate ideas and information effectively, both verbally and in writing Key Skills & Qualifications Education: A degree in Structural Engineering is required. Professional Registration: CPEng and RPEQ. Experience: Demonstrated a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in the structural design and analysis of wireless telecommunications structures. At least one year of validity in professional registration. Fully familiar with Amplitel Deployment Rules, including the preparation and sign‑off of F01 and F04 forms. Technical Proficiency: Sound understanding of Australian Standards related to telecommunication structures. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SpaceGass, MStower, Tedds, Checkpole). Ability to prepare concept and detailed design drawings. Ability to provide a strengthening solution for the overloaded structures. Cyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
