FUNCTION/EVENT SUPERVISOR

Bathers Beach House is one of Perth's premier function & event venues. We are situated on Bathers Beach and in the heart of Fremantle's Iconic Fishing Boat Harbour. Our venue is Perth's only entire beach front location with 180 degree panoramic views of Bathers Beach. The balconies overlook the fishing boat harbour, Esplanade Park and Rottnest. Hosting a wide range of events from premium weddings, corporate functions, annual internal events and large scale VIP Fashion & Travel Events this diverse role is truly one to be desired. Currently being offered as a casual role with the possibility to become part-time for the right candidate. Key Responsibilites Setting up function spaces correctly following instructions on BEO and floor plan Executing events in real time in accordance with BEO Overseeing all types of events including Weddings, corporate events and social functions Training of event staff with adherence to sequence of service and BBH policies and procedures Supervision of function staff Adhering to RSA requirements during functions Admin duties including but not limited to menus, signage, call sheets Delivering excellent customer service to all current, past and prospective clients Selection Criteria A minimum of 6 months in a similar role Great people skills with personality to match The ability to work flexible hours including weekends/ public holidays Fantastic communication skills Be hands on with an enthusiastic approach Have a willingness to create a fantastic experience for all of our guests Very high attention to detail RSA is essential Knowledge in Microsoft Office and other digital media an advantage but not essential Approved manager card advantageous but not essential To apply please send cover letter and resume to *********@bathersbeachhouse.com.au.
