Motion is investing in the Capability & Development of our people to enable the delivery of this growth strategy, meaning plenty of opportunity to work and develop your skills and knowledge.What kind of work may be involved?Supervision of planned works, workshop labour and materials for scheduled, unscheduled and emerging work. Assist with rosters, and job activities to minimise delays and contract costs. Full understanding of each task/job/project and their requirements. Ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for scoping and estimating job/project costs and timeframes. Reviewing completed works. Ensuring all documentations are completed, stored, and in place to reflect the progress, variations, additional costs, program delays. Completing all necessary time sheets to reflect the employees, durations, break-up between the various jobs. Attending meetings to resolve or report issues and progress related to the work. Who are you?Qualification in Engineering or trade discipline with a minimum experience of 5 years in the steel or similar industry. Sound supervisory and leadership skills. Sound understanding of the Recognised Service Facility inspection & repair process. Physically fit to meet the requirements of the role. Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practises to ensure you and your teammates are safe at all times about Health & Safety.
