IMMEDIATE - Sr Facilities Officer -Till Feb '26 - AUD 600 plus super / day - NSW Govt Project Position Title Sr Facilities Officer Tenure Till Feb 2026 ( 3-4 months contract ) Pay Rate AUD 600 plus super per day Hours of Work 8 hrs / day Location NSW Northern Region + hybrid ( Travel involved ) Travel Requirements This role is based in the Northern NSW Region and covers roughly 50 Service Centres and other facilities. Regular travel to Sydney CBD and around the northern NSW region will be required and a work vehicle is provided so you must have a current drivers licence. You will also be required to participate in the after hours on-call roster. Overview Service Provider Coordination : Manage relationships and performance of external service providers across a multi-site portfolio, ensuring timely and quality delivery of maintenance and operational services. Project Management : Deliver essential capital maintenance works to ensure annual funding is fully utilised. Compliance & Safety : Assess contractor compliance through safety audits of safety documentation eg. SWMS, Risk assessment and inductions. Strategic Advice : Subject matter expert and technical advice on strategy eg. Space Management, sustainability, risk Procurement & Risk Analysis : Focus on compliance, value and risk mitigation to inform decision making Contract Management : Strong supplier relationships, vendor meetings, quality assurance, value of delivery To be successful in this role you will demonstrate : Over 5 years experience in facility management across a geographically dispersed portfolio. Your capacity to deliver quality outcomes in tight time-frames and competing priorities.
