Contract Type: Contract Position Full Time Applications Close: 18 November 2025 A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing 27 January until 2 April 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach English in Stages 4-6. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L. Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning. Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in English. Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning. Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/caregivers and the wider College community. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Experience having previously taught English in Stage 6 (Advanced and/or Studies) The ability to teach Religious Education GENERAL CAPABILITIES Well-developed interpersonal skills. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate qualifications for teaching various subjects within the English faculty. Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employmentwith CEDoW. The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA. WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
