It focuses on ensuring each rider enjoys a seamless and memorable journey by providing expert guidance and briefings, performing routine maintenance and delivering outstanding service. Conduct E-bike rental bookings and customer reservations. Conduct briefings on equipment usage and bike usage area Perform routine maintenance, safety checks and repairs on E-bikes. Ensure bikes are in optimal condition before and after each rental. Assist customers with store purchases of merchandise and technical products. Conduct and record daily inspections and cleaning of bikes. Perform trail maintenance to ensure safe and enjoyable riding conditions. Facilitate off‑road recovery of guests and equipment from trails. Educate customers on bike operation, safety protocols and recommended routes. Handle bookings, payments, cash up and customer inquiries efficiently. Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop and rental environment. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role. Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a bike workshop (Essential) (E-bike-specific training can be provided; prior exposure is advantageous). Passionate and knowledgeable about mountain biking, with at least three years of riding experience (Essential) Open / unrestricted driver's license (Essential) Eligible and willing to obtain QLD Restricted Driver Authority (Desirable) Sales experience or strong product knowledge relevant to the role (Desirable) Experience in the tourism industry (Desirable) Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder‑filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.
