Job Description As our Centre Chef/Cook, you will play a key role in supporting children’s health and wellbeing by preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks each day. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks provided through Kids Gourmet Food (KGF). Cater to individual dietary needs, allergies, cultural requirements, and special diets. Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety standards within the kitchen. Manage stock rotation, food storage, and kitchen organisation. Ensure compliance with safe food handling practices and relevant regulations. Work collaboratively with educators to support positive mealtime experiences. Maintain accurate food safety and temperature records. About You Experience working as a Chef/Cook (childcare experience highly regarded). Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Food Safety Supervisor Certificate must be obtained before starting. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements. Ability to confidently follow KGF meal service procedures. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and commitment to supporting children’s health and wellbeing. Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application. Why Work With Us?
