Cape York NRM is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Land Systems, Agriculture and Monitoring to provide strategic and operational leadership across major regional programs. This senior role delivers tangible outcomes for environmental health, agricultural sustainability and resilient land use across Cape York Peninsula. Working closely with the CEO, the Program Manager leads the Cape York Landscape Repair Program and the Climate-Smart and Sustainable Agriculture Program, overseeing program delivery jechuun contracts, partnerships and reporting. With responsibility for leading staff, managing stakeholders and ensuring funded outcomes are delivered on time and within budget, this position plays a key role in implementing the Regional NRM Plan in alignment with Cape York NRMs values and guiding principles. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver the Cape York Landscape Repair and Climate-Smart Sustainable Agriculture programs, achieving funded outcomes on time and within budget. Manage end-to-end program performance, including technical and financial reporting, contracts and funder relationships. Develop and lead a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement of delivery systems. Oversee innovative extension, knowledge transfer and communications that drive practical, on-ground change. Ensure strong governance, compliance and risk management across all programs and funding agreements. Build and leverage partnerships with First Nations groups, researchers, community and industry partners to maximise regional impact.
