Why GPs Choose Our Urgent Care Model GP‑led service with clear structure and defined scope Strong clinical support and highly capable nursing team Opportunity to do meaningful procedural work safely – without the unpredictability of ED or the chronic disease load of general practice What’s Available Negotiate your preferred Dec/Jan shift blocks with increased summer rates Start now or in early 2026 Full training and induction for GPs new to urgent care Dedicated urgent care nurses supporting triage, plastering, wound care, and patient flow Typical Presentations Lacerations, burns, and wound management Minor fractures, sprains, and musculoskeletal injuries Respiratory and ENT complaints Fevers, infections, acute pain Time‑sensitive assessments requiring onward referral Who We’re Looking For VR GP with AHPRA Specialist Registration Current ALS certification ED, UCC, or rural GP experience preferred but not essential GPs who enjoy fast‑paced, hands‑on, structured clinical work Why Chatswood?
