Role Overview Due to high demand, we are looking for a passionate Coating Inspector to join our team. Located in Prestons, the role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Perform work in accordance with the Quality Assurance management systems procedures and work instructions. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of corporate and project specific documentation and review Manufacturers Data Reports (MDR). Report on product and process non‑conformance and product preservation. Review assigned project technical coating documentation. Inspect and evaluate coatings applied to metallic substrates to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards (AS/NZS, NACE, etc.). Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures on site. Train and mentor junior employees. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders. Troubleshoot coating application issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualification: AMPP Level 1 (CIP1). Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Able to work autonomously and enjoys a team environment. Able to work with strong deadlines.
