As a
Lifestyle Officer , you’ll help residents to find meaning and purpose through activities designed to enhance their sense of connection, fun and relaxation.
Your warm-hearted care will provide experiences that enhance our residents’ wellbeing and overall quality of life and truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is an incredibly rewarding role and a lot of fun

far south coast of New South Wales, Australia :This is a
Permanent, Part Time role - Working on Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 9:00am to 3:30pm with 18 hours per week.Your work may include:Helping facilitate a range of engaging onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft and special eventsHelping to develop and plan a range of social, recreational and cultural activitiesAssisting residents on bus trips and community outingsSupporting resident participation and offering warm companionshipEnsuring residents’ needs, values and spiritual values and cultural preferences are taken into accountTo Be Successful You Will Have
A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willing to obtain)Initiative and creative flairExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work as part of a team and prioritise workThe ability to put a smile on a residents face and brighten their dayA big heart – you’re empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possibleKnowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia (desirable)Benefits for You
