Your Role Provide effective administrative, coordination and project support for disability-related workshops, wellbeing events, transition activities and creative programs, including Keeping in Touch (KIT) Days, Deaf Camps and associated performance initiatives, to ensure efficient program delivery across the state. Support program evaluation and stakeholder engagement by assisting with data collection and analysis, liaising with schools and transition teams, and providing targeted assistance to Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students and staff. It is highly desirable for applicants to be fluent in Auslan and knowledgeable about post-school supports, with the capacity to bring a Deaf cultural lens and advocate for DHH young people in transition planning. Your Responsibilities As the Program Support Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Support performance tracking and data analysis of students involved in work experience placements, transition programs, and case studies to assist with program evaluation and reporting. Assist DHH staff (who are accessing departmental professional learning grants to undertake tertiary study) with QTAC applications, enrolment, access support, tutorial session coordination and general support. Support planning and coordination of theatre, dance and choir performances involving students and staff for the Australian Deaf Games and related departmental initiatives. Provide administrative support for registration processes and correspondence management in relation to workshops, wellbeing events (camp, KIT days for secondary and primary schools) and programs. Support survey, evaluation and data analysis activities for workshops, events and wellbeing/transition programs, and prepare reports and placemats that highlight key trends to inform future program planning. Support the delivery and coordination of life skills programs, work with DHH Services and Australian Deaf Games as a Creativity Coordinator and plan, create and implement activities (particularly in the creative arts) at KIT Days. Support Deaf Camp administration tasks, including designing logos, developing camp booklets, capturing photos and videos for camp photo books and contributing creative ideas to enhance program activities.
