Welcome to Ascolta Early Learning and Care, Greenwood At Ascolta, our values Listen, Love, Laugh, and Learn are at the heart of everything we do About the Role We’re on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to lead our centre’s kitchen working Monday to Friday for 24–30 hours per week. Ideal for someone who values early finishes and a consistent weekday schedule. As our occupancy grows, there’s potential for hours to expand If you have a love for nourishing little learners and the creativity to make healthy food fun, we’d love to hear from you What You’ll Be Doing Planning and preparing seasonal, nutritious menus that cater to children of all dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances (gluten, dairy, etc.) Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment Ordering supplies and managing stock efficiently Keeping clear and accurate records in line with food safety regulations Being a valued part of a close-knit, supportive team that puts children first What You’ll Need Available to work a minimum of 24–30 hours per week Experience in childcare, aged care cooking or similar (essential) Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable) Commercial Cookery qualification (desirable) Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain) Permanent working rights in Australia Why You’ll Love Working With Us Dedicated staff spaces, including a fully stocked staff room and separate planning room for programming, study, and reflection Staff appreciation as a priority – from morning tea birthday celebrations to shout-outs and small gifts recognizing achievements Celebrating calendar events together to bring fun and community into our workplace Proudly Perth-based and boutique in size – we know our team, and we care.
