If you’ve built up skills in the Construction industry and love helping others learn and grow, this could be the role for you What you’ll do As a Sessional Trainer in our team you’ll: Share your industry experience and deliver Construction White Card training to prepare students for safe work in the construction industry. Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging face to face training sessions, incorporating hands on skills and assessments. Work with individuals from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them become job‑ready, grow their confidence and achieve lasting change. What you’ll bring TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) – Essential Recent experience in construction or trades, and CPCWHS1001 White Card A collaborative approach with great people skills, organisation and initiative. Comfortable skills with tech and able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently. Familiarity with Canvas is beneficial. Additional requirements Flexibility is required to travel to different training locations each week, across STATE. Accommodation is provided for trips over 90 minutes. You’ll need a current driver’s license and your own car to transport equipment (e.g., warehousing gear, café machines, training materials). Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment. You’ll be working with people from all backgrounds and experience levels, so a positive attitude and solutions‑focused mindset is key. (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
