Primary Objective We are seeking an experienced and dedicated High Risk Team (HRT) Coordinator to lead the Capricorn Region’s coordinated response to domestic and family violence (DFV). This key leadership role provides operational oversight, facilitates multi-agency collaboration, and ensures culturally safe, trauma-informed, and victim-survivor-centred practice. You will chair weekly High Risk Team meetings, guide interagency information sharing, and support your team through supervision, training, and wellbeing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and chair weekly multi-agency HRT meetings. Oversee triage, risk assessment, referral management, and case closure processes. Ensure data integrity through accurate use of the Infoxchange case management system. Build and maintain strong interagency relationships that support effective information sharing. Provide leadership and guidance to the HRT, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. About You You’re an experienced professional with a deep understanding of domestic and family violence frameworks and a passion for improving safety and outcomes for victim-survivors. You thrive in collaborative, complex environments and bring a strong mix of leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Essential qualifications and experience Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related field. Completion of CRASF Level 2 and 3 training (or willingness to obtain). Extensive experience in DFV practice, including risk assessment and case coordination. Strong understanding of DFV legislation, including information-sharing provisions (DFVPA Part 5A). Current C Class Driver’s Licence (QLD). Core competencies Expertise in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and victim-survivor-centred practice. Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency teams in high-risk environments. Excellent organisational, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate legal frameworks within DFV practice.
