Based in the Sutherland Shire we are just 5 minutes away from Cronulla beach. SBSL offers personalised tutoring and speech pathology services, focusing on nurturing students, building their confidence, and fostering open communication. Since 2019, SBSL has also provided diagnostic assessment and therapy services for school‑aged children, specialising in the paediatric population. Flexibility of start/finish time PD budget ($1,000) per calendar year with paid time off Dedicated admin time each day Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist, based in Caringbah, NSW, with the flexibility to work from your own office and/or off‑site. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments and delivering individualised therapy plans for children and adolescents with speech, language, and communication challenges. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with families and educators to provide tailored interventions, monitor progress, and maintain detailed records to ensure the best outcomes for each student. Qualifications Proficiency in Speech Therapy with expertise addressing speech and language‑related concerns Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders Knowledge of Dysphagia diagnosis and treatment Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals Relevant Speech Language Pathology qualifications and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practices Current Working with Children Check and valid driver’s licence (desirable for mobile services) Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Health Care Provider Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Step by Step Learning by 2x Get notified about new Speech Language Pathologist jobs in Caringbah South, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
