About the Role The Talent Partner role sits within our People & Capability branch and offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation at the forefront of digital health transformation in Australia. As a Talent Partner , you’ll play a strategic role in shaping the Agency’s workforce by collaborating with leaders to deliver innovative, end-to-end talent solutions. From identifying and attracting top candidates to guiding hiring managers and enhancing the candidate experience, you’ll help build a workforce that supports Australia’s digital health transformation. Beyond recruitment, you’ll support workforce planning, talent initiatives, and process improvements. You’ll be responsible for crafting job descriptions, tracking key talent metrics, and supporting the full hiring lifecycle. Additionally, you’ll help strengthen our employer brand, build future talent pipelines, and ensure we’re ready to meet evolving workforce needs. Skills and Experience We are seeking a highly experienced Talent Partner with best‑practice recruitment expertise and an understanding of interpreting and applying legislation in a government context or the ability to rapidly acquire this. The ability to undertake strategic recruitment and to identify future needs for proactive resourcing solutions will be key. This is a fast‑paced role and requires a solutions-based thinker who has a high degree of drive to achieve outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and will be required to provide high level advice and guidance regarding recruitment processes and workforce planning while working within the APS and the Agency’s legislative and policy frameworks. Qualifications Relevant experience working in a recruitment/HR environment is mandatory. Previous experience in strategic recruitment in the APS and/or providing recruitment services via a talent partner model are highly desired. Qualifications in human resources and/or relevant experience in government recruitment and entry level programs or equivalent are highly desired. Ability to obtain and maintain national police check. Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance determined by the agency with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency. Additional Information You can be located in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Canberra. Consideration may be given to candidates outside these cities.
