POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an MR/HR driver to operate our NEW rear loading compactor for commercial bin collections. We look after our drivers, and are offering employment stability and an enticing hourly rate, exceeding the standard Award rate in the industry, paying $36‑$40 per hour plus superannuation (standard 38 hour work week), paid weekly. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure your uniform is clean and presentable, with a high level of professionalism. Before leaving the depot, ensure all safety and maintenance checks have been completed. Make sure the truck is driven and operated within manufacturer guidelines, training manual, and applicable SWMS. Ensure the bins are delivered safely and analyse visual hazards, to prevent potential damage to property, or injury to others. Ensure all bins are placed appropriately and are safely secured on the truck. Liaise with clients regarding access to their bins, and location/bin placements. Customer service is a high priority, and drivers must maintain a high level of respect for our clients and the community. Rubbish is to be emptied daily, and the truck is maintained at a high level of cleanliness and service. Ensure the truck is cleaned and washed at the cleaning bay in the depot, at the end of the work week. Be a team player, take directives from your Manager, and complete daily tasks requested. Report any truck or equipment faults to your Manager. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Driver must perform visual inspection for prohibited items in the bins. ABOUT YOU MR, HR Driver's Licence. Experience driving a minimum 6.2 tonne GVM rear loader. Clean Driving Record (2+ years). Able to pass police check, Truck Safe Medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing. Own transport to the depot (trucks stay onsite). Able to start as early as 4AM (flexible). Work a minimum of 38 hours a week, with overtime available. On-the-job training is provided. BENEFITS Great standard hourly rate, exceeding standard industry rates. Early start, and early finish.
