Junior Content Producer

Job Description
Our Junior Content Producer is responsible for delivering commercial, content-led solutions across the relevant Nine digital and print verticals, including nine.com.au, 9Honey, Wide World of Sports and mastheads including The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age (print and digital) and the relevant newspaper inserted magazines.
Role Responsibilities:
Pitch and create content solutions for commercial clients across lifestyle and luxury, news, entertainment and show sites, creating compelling content ideas that will attract and engage Nine’s audiences
Provide copywriting, including concepts, for display advertisements where appropriate
Manage the production of content projects, including ideation, pitching, contentplanning, writing or commissioning, sourcing and managing freelancers, editing, image research, production and reporting for written content; and ideation, pitching, content planning, scripting, directing and post-production for video content
Work with talent where appropriate to meet client objectives and engage the Nine audience
Work closely with key internal stakeholders including site editors and homepage editors and sales teams to ensure all content created is original and appropriate for both the client and the relevant masthead and brand
Work closely with key internal stakeholders to secure editorial and social support and ensure all campaigns hit targets, and report on finished campaigns
Write content features when necessary, including articles, quizzes and infographics
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant media experience (editorial and/or commercial content).
Ability to analyse client needs and use them to create an effective digitally-led solution
Experience in writing, editing and publishing high-quality online content using content management systems
Experience in ideating high-quality video with a commercial focus
Ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, with the capability to influence, negotiate and mediate to reach an optimum outcome for all parties
Skills in reporting and interpreting data using analytics software such as Omniture, with a proven track record for achieving traffic targets with compelling editorial and engaging video
Excellent organisational skills, with strength in planning, time-management and follow- through
Working knowledge of Photoshop
Demonstrated ability to write to a mainstream media style and standard
