Job Opening: Senior .NET Developer (Full-Time | Long-Term) Location: StudyNet Sydney Headquarters Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Commitment: Long‑Term (3‑Month Prohibition Period) StudyNet is an AI‑powered Australian EdTech platform transforming how students, counsellors, and institutions connect. Our technology powers intelligent course discovery, budget planning, personalised counselling, Google Maps‑based campus insights, and real‑time application tracking —making the study abroad journey simpler, faster, and better. We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to support our growing AI‑driven ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimise, and maintain .NET‑based applications, APIs, and internal systems. Integrate third‑party and internal services via secure API‑based architectures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build high‑performance, scalable tech solutions for the StudyNet platform. Ensure clean code practices, unit testing, and consistent deployment standards. Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and long‑term system improvements. Technical Requirements 1. Strong Command of C# Expert‑level understanding of OOP, LINQ, async/await, delegates, and generics. 2. .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 5+ Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Blazor, and Entity Framework. Must have experience working with Microsoft Azure App Service . 3. Front‑End Familiarity Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exposure to React or Angular is an advantage. 4. Database Expertise Strong SQL Server skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures. ORM experience with Entity Framework. 5. RESTful API Development Capable of building and consuming secure APIs with authentication and integration workflows. 6. Testing & Debugging Familiarity with xUnit/NUnit. Strong debugging skills using Visual Studio. 7. Source Control Experience with Git and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow). 8. Cloud Knowledge (Preferred) Azure or AWS knowledge (CI/CD, Functions, App Services, pipelines, etc.). Soft Skills Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking. High attention to code quality, structure, and maintainability. Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical teams. Collaborative mindset; experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Passion for continuous learning and modern .NET technologies. Bonus Skills Knowledge of design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Repository). Experience with dependency injection, middleware, logging frameworks. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Must‑Haves Minimum 6+ years of professional .NET development experience . Practical experience with API‑based system integration (mandatory). Hands‑on experience with Azure App Service .
