As a Senior Network Engineer, you will tackle all types of technical work from switching and wireless through to firewalling and cybersecurity. You will deliver on-site and remote systems engineering services to Compnow's diverse customer base and you will provide services as part of a highly skilled BAU Service Desk team. You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of networking, and an internal escalation point accessible to our national team. Provide services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies delivering excellence in Windows and / or Apple focused technology services. Provide general application support, basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues, user account creations and deletions, create file sharing connections. Work closely with our BAU Team to manage customer expectations and resolve highly technical issues in a timely manner. Manage end point software installation and licensing, as well as end user device setup and transfer. Documenting time and technical information into our ticketing systems and client information tools. What you’ll bring? Multiple years' experience in a Senior Network Engineer or similar position. Desire to succeed as a team and share knowledge to fellow engineers. Love to communicate with key stakeholders, in both technical and non-technical capacities. Understand the importance of time management, you enjoy working towards deadlines. Passionate about everything IT, you have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Desired technical skills and capabilities : Level 4experience in network troubleshooting - experience with key vendors such as Aruba, CISCO, Fortinet and Palo Alto. 6+ years' experience in large enterprise networking and SD WANs. Deep level knowledge in networking, firewalls, switching and wireless. Subject matterin all things networking, primarily as a delivery engineer. Relevant certifications with key networking vendors and products. What else do you need to apply? Travel on-site to our office in Marleston. Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
