Geotechnical Technician

Geotechnical Technician – Northern Star Resources Northern Star Resources has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geotechnical Technician at our world‑class KCGM Super pit Operation. The successful candidate will provide logistical and administrative support to our Geotechnical team. Working 11‑hour days on an 8:6 roster, this full‑time residential role in Kalgoorlie offers a great work‑life balance and an optimal lifestyle in the Goldfields. Requirements Intermediate level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Experience working in Geotechnical or Geology support roles. Experience in geotechnical monitoring systems including; slope stability monitoring radars, prisms, and vibrating wire piezometers. Basic knowledge and experience in database applications. Experience in mine surveying methods. Working knowledge of electronics and radio telecommunications. Basic to intermediate knowledge of mine planning software.
