Responsibilities Leading and supporting hydrogeological investigations and assessments across municipal and commercial scale water supply, mining, infrastructure and environmental sectors. Designing and managing field programs including bore design, installation, aquifer testing, groundwater monitoring and sampling. Developing and refining conceptual hydrogeological models and supporting numerical modelling efforts. Providing technical advice on groundwater resource planning, impact assessments and regulatory compliance. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, proposals, budgets and work programs. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in Hydrogeology or related discipline. 10+ years of experience in hydrogeological consulting or applied groundwater science. Strong technical skills in groundwater investigations, conceptualisation and impact assessment. Experience with Victoria’s groundwater framework, regulations and policy is highly desirable. Proficiency in data analytics, particularly through coding and spatial analytics through GIS, to support/inform hydrogeological modelling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience in managing projects and project teams effectively.
