The Role AI Product Managers at Seek specialise in connecting SEEK’s strategy and customer ambitions with the possibilities unlocked by AI and data. Working within cross‑functional teams alongside Data Scientists, Engineers and other specialists, they build AI‑driven products to solve our most important customer and business problems. As a Senior AI Product Manager in the GenAI team, you will operate in a highly dynamic, visible, and impactful domain, working on the most advanced state‑of‑the‑art AI techniques. The role demands continual learning, the ability to identify emerging opportunities, develop robust strategy and road‑maps, and partner across the organisation to deliver value. The Senior AI Product Manager will oversee the roadmap and delivery of GenAI capabilities, from early‑stage prototypes testing the latest technologies to building and maintaining platforms that enable scalable AI‑backed products. Key Responsibilities Strategy Build an understanding of customer jobs to be done, constraints/gaps and product partner ambitions. Research innovations in and applications of GenAI technology, strategies and business models to identify commercial opportunities. Review GenAI project opportunities through fact‑based findings to understand potential value. Communicate strategic and commercial opportunities to the business and develop plans for execution. Work with partners, AIPS and the squad to set quarterly joint OKRs for partner projects. Support the team to frame problems and trade‑offs in a structured way that leads to robust decisions. Partners Work with partners to frame opportunities leveraging GenAI capabilities. Coordinate squad engagement with partner teams to define, build and integrate new products and services. Manage contracts and ongoing engagement with partner teams. Product Ownership Define measures of success for products and services, track progress and identify opportunities for improvement. Team Facilitation Establish and maintain good team processes. Act as the Agile ‘product owner’ for the team’s products and services. Encourage and facilitate data‑driven decision making. Identify and manage dependencies on other squads or partner teams. Coordinate updates to stakeholders (e.g. partner steering committees, AIPS showcase). The Team The Generative AI (GenAI) team is a practices team within the larger Artificial Intelligence & Analytics organisation. It focuses on developing and advancing GenAI applications and capabilities across SEEK, operating as an internal consultancy that provides guidance, support and resourcing for fixed‑length engagements. It aims to maximise the benefit of GenAI to SEEK while delivering targeted high‑value initiatives. You will report to the Principal AI Product Manager. Qualifications Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience Experience building AI Products , or a passion to quickly learn relevant technology. Strong problem solver – ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using a data‑driven approach. Great communication skills to engage non‑technical partners and stakeholders on complex AI concepts. Ability to inspire technical teams and contribute to solution design. Ability to break constraints and get things done, including roll‑up of sleeves when required. Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience Strong learning orientation and learner’s mindset. Ability to form connections with senior and mid‑level stakeholders. Pragmatic – willing to make trade‑offs to move forward. Experience translating conceptual ideas into tangible tasks and persevering through completion. Awareness of ethical and responsible AI principles and ability to apply them in decision‑making.
