About the Role The Transformation Lead – People & Culture supports the continuous improvement and enhancement of HR processes, working with stakeholders to scope, design and document employee lifecycle activities. The role focuses on supporting change and transformation initiatives across the People Experience Strategy and broader People & Learning team. A key area of delivery is working closely with the Workday Functional Leads to drive business process enhancement, redesign and document processes, update change artefacts and communicate changes clearly. It also includes supporting changes associated with system releases. This role reports to the General Manager of People Operations and Transformation and is a permanent full‑time position based at St Leonards in Sydney or Malvern in Melbourne, with hybrid opportunities. Key Focus Areas Drive continuous improvement and enhancement of HR processes across the People Experience strategy and broader People & Learning team. Work with stakeholders and leads to define, design and document key employee lifecycle initiatives. Maintain a strong connection to the frontline workforce to capture feedback, ensuring processes reflect our goal of creating more time to care. Lead people experience initiatives across the People Operations function and broader People & Learning team. Ensure HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in HR technology. Facilitate business requirements workshops and meetings to capture and troubleshoot process design. Develop process maps and supporting change artefacts (QRGs) to clearly articulate HR processes and ways of working. Key Responsibilities Analyse information to enable practical, data‑driven business decisions, and implement changes based on those decisions. Use insights drawn from both feedback and data analysis to identify problems and find solutions. Prepare strategic recommendations for process adjustments, procedures, and performance improvements. Develop a good understanding of HammondCare's objectives and procedures to effectively analyse performance, identify inefficiencies and propose and implement solutions. Gather, validate and document business requirements. Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements. About You Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action. At least 5 years experience in a Business Analyst role or HR project role involved in large‑scale transformation programmes in complex business environments. Demonstrated experience and understanding in change management. Demonstrated experience in agile methodologies and human‑centred design. Ability to contribute to decisions around requirement prioritisation, defining scope and viability of solutions. Strong experience in stakeholder engagement. Strong ability to gather and distil information by asking the right questions to define clear requirements. Strong documentation and writing skills – creating documents such as use cases and business requirement documents. Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Confident presenter – the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and manage stakeholder meetings. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving ability. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Experience implementing or being an end user of Workday HCM.
