Ricks on 6th, a world class bakery in Maroochydore, QLD, is seeking a talented Pastrycook to join our team. As a Pastrycook, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, innovative desserts and baked goods that delight our customers. This is a full-time role. Candidates must hold permanent residency status in Australia. What you’ll be doing Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, and other desserts according to recipes and business specifications Decorating and finishing baked goods with attention to detail and creativity Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Ensuring efficient and timely production to meet customer demands What we’re looking for Formal training in baking or pastry arts, such as a certificate or diploma in Baking or Patisserie Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification is the minimum requirement Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastrycook or similar role in a commercial bakery Excellent technical skills in pastry preparation, baking Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently and maintain high quality standards under pressure Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Availability for 4 am start time Tuesday to Saturday What we offer Competitive salary Air conditioned work space with the latest baking equipment available Ongoing training and skill development Discounted products and meals Flexible work arrangements A friendly and collaborative team environment About us Ricks on 6th is a family-owned bakery that has been serving the Maroochydore community for 3 years.
