We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team and support essential infrastructure projects in the City of Victor Harbor. Key Responsibilities: Perform civil construction and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Identify problems, assess alternative solutions, and develop recommendations. Maintain high levels of communication and teamwork. Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Follow administrative processes, procedures, and customer service principles. Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards. Operate relevant machinery, plant, and equipment as per the Local Government Employees Award. Certificate III in Civil Construction. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related position. Demonstrated competency in civil construction and maintenance processes. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Good understanding of WHS principles and procedures. Experience in customer service with a strong focus on quality service delivery. Working knowledge of the Local Government Act and related legislation. Ability to adapt to technological changes and use technology effectively. Certificate IV in Civil Construction. Current Medium Rigid (MR) or Light Rigid (LR) Driver’s Licence.
