Create and manage feature stores for AI models, transform trained models into deployable APIs, and implement MLOps solutions for automation and lifecycle management. Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy regulations, and security standards, maintaining procedures and documentation to support integrity, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Monitor daily data quality and processes, remediate operational issues, and provide advanced (level 3) incident support within agreed service levels. Build and maintain databases and actuarial data marts, leveraging automation and CI/CD pipelines to enhance scalability and flexibility across datasets. Research emerging data technologies, recommend innovation trials, and contribute to ongoing enhancements in data and AI practices for WaterNSW. What We Are Looking For Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field such as Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology/Computer Sciences. Relevant intermediate/advanced Azure Data certifications. Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for setting up data warehouses on Azure. Agile delivery methodologies. Experience in integrating and preparing large‑scale datasets for AI and ML model training. Experience with technologies such as Power Platform, Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Power BI, or similar. Experience with modern data pipelines, data streaming, and real‑time analytics tools. Expertise in data modelling and ELT/ETL strategies. Knowledge of industry‑leading data quality and data protection management practices. Solid understanding of data security, data classification, and access control measures.
