Founded in 2017, Axis Mineral Services Pty Ltd (‘Axis’) specialise in mobile crushing & ore sorting services for all requirements in Mining, Milling, Processing and Civil applications. Axis are currently running crushing circuits, ROM Management and general site works operations across a number of projects in the Goldfields regions, within the Mining and Civil Construction sectors. We have opportunities for experienced HD Fitter - Mobile Crushing to join our rapidly growing business in both FIFO and residential positions, based in Kalgoorlie and the Northern Goldfields. What's in it for you: Permanent role 5-week annual leave entitlement Training & career progression Workshop and field-based environments, working on well-maintained equipment 2:1 roster, FIFO (ex-Perth) or Kalgoorlie Residential role Working across a variety of Axis projects across the Kalgoorlie and Northern Goldfields regions Access to EAP counselling services and resources to support employees' and their families mental and emotional well-being Employee Benefits (discounts on airport parking, hotels, retail, entertainment, mobile/internet plans and more) Working with a personable and relatable leadership team who recognise and reward highly skilled people that contribute to the success of the business To be successful in this role, you will possess: Nationally recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate Experience working on mobile plant equipment (Terex Finlay, McCloskey, CAT and Komatsu equipment preferred) Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work safely Good time management and work prioritisation skills Ability to work in a team Valid WA Manual C Class Drivers Licence Ability to pass a pre-employment medical Have or be able to obtain a National Police Check Responsibilities of the role: Complete scheduled repairs including component change outs and preventative maintenance Perform inspections to assess and scope defects accurately and timely Complete tasks efficiently, use initiative and seek opportunities to improve practices and reduce costs Work and communicate effectively with other team members to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines If you are interested, please apply now.
