Overview Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking a trade qualified HVAC or refrigeration technician to work on‑site at a purpose built data centre in Sydney' West. This is a client‑side role, working directly for the owner operator of a well established facility. Working on a shift roster pattern, the team provides 24X7 coverage to this mission critical operation. Shift work will consist of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off including 2 x 12-hour day shifts and 2 x 12-hour night shifts. Day to day: As part of the facilities team, you'll be collectively responsible for the continued uptime of the building, ensuring that all preventative maintenance tasks and activities are carried out. Tasks include managing all on‑site subcontractors, responding to alarms, incident reporting and documentation, change management protocols and fault finding. Based on‑site, you will undertake basic preventative maintenance work while maintaining the utmost safety. Key Requirements HVAC or refrigeration trade background Australian citizenship is essential as this role will require you to gain Security Clearance Experience working on mission critical sites (data centre experience preferred but not essential) Willing and able to work as part of a 24X7 roster (4 on, 4 off) Strong experience and technical knowledge of industrial sized cooling systems Good communication skills, both written and verbal This is a unique opportunity to join the booming data centre sector.
