About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Chief Concierge to support the daily operations of our Concierge team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution Assist in on‑site events such as weddings or corporate meetings Support the effective day‑to‑day operations of the Concierge team Demonstrate proficiency across all Guest Services functions, including butler service, in‑room dining, porterage, and valet Provide leadership and guidance to Concierge Manage guest requests, bookings, and correspondence with efficiency and professionalism Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly for VIPs and group arrivals Assist in service recovery and uphold positive guest and colleague interactions Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking systems in line with hotel policies Qualifications Previous experience as a Concierge within a five‑star hotel or similar environment preferred Strong knowledge of Sydney’s attractions, restaurants, and services Must possess a professional presentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead by example and support team development High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays Extremely organized and well‑developed computer knowledge Extensive knowledge of Sydney and surrounds Must already have a valid visa to work in Australia Working at Park Hyatt Sydney will include Access to employee benefits such as complimentary shift meals, discounts for the Spa and all Food and Beverage outlets Access to complimentary and discounted Hyatt accommodation worldwide Access to internationally recognised learning and development programs and opportunities Access to an employee assistance program and paid family leave benefits Being part of a diverse and inclusive team, passionate about their work #J-18808-Ljbffr
