Workshop Manager

Motacare is the RACV Auto Accredited Workshop in Bendigo, Ballarat,Shepparton, and Torquay and leading Road Service provider to the RACV in country Victoria. Motacare performs over 50,000 jobs per year for the RACV and also performs many other services such as Pre Purchase Inspections, Child Restraint fitting, and Towing. The position is based in Shepparton. Motacare depots also perform general repairs to all makes and models of vehicles. The Position The position is part hands‑on and part managing a team of motor mechanics. The position requires the ability to manage a team of mechanics, assist in management of the patrol, and tow truck drivers. The applicant will be excellent at diagnosing faults and why vehicles have stopped. Will have the ability to quote that job and fix the vehicle. The successful applicant will have to meet and exceed customer expectations. To help manage a team of RACV Patrol perform to the highest levels. To meet budgets and make sure the workshop is running efficiently and profitably. The successful applicant will liaise with the RACV and Management Team to make sure that we are meeting performance standards. The position will require: A high level of mechanical Knowledge. The ability to manage a team Experience with Microsoft Office and other office programs will be highly regarded. Ability to work in a high‑pressure, busy environment. Ability to grow the business The ability to produce great customer levels of satisfaction.
